Frequently Asked Questions

Reserving a boat is easy. Simply click on the book now button on our website. There you will be taken to the boat options, simply select either a tritoon or pontoon. The system will then bring up the calendar for you to select your dates and the time you would like to pick up your  boat. Once you fill out all of the information you will be sent a booking confirmation with the time of pick up and directions to the Wild Life Boat launch. A confirmation of your booking will then be sent to the Catfish jack's team.

We offer 20 foot pontoon boats that seat 10 people and 23 foot tritoon boats that seat 12 people. All safety equipment is included.

We do not have brick and mortar storefront. We do all drop offs and pickups at the Henrico Wildlife Boat Launch located at 142 Wildlife Landing in Henrico NC. If you are renting for the day there is plenty of parking. If you are renting for multiple days simply drop off the driver. 

26 Years or older

No, if you are 26 years or older you do not need a boater's license.

Yes, after you book your boat you will be sent a digital waiver to sign. Every person who will be driving the boat must sign a waiver. You can simply forward a waiver to them or they can find one it in the drop down menu on our website. * The person picking up the boat must have signed the waiver.

Yes, just like when you rent a car, when you rent a boat we require a damage deposit. There will be time stamped photos taken upon check-in and check-out.

Yes, when you return the boat the fuel need to be at the same level it was when you dropped it off. There is refuel charge for all boat that come back without the same amount of fuel.
